I'm about to start Slynd after really struggling with Utrogestan for years.

I'm scared.
I'm so depressed from using Utrogestan that I am worried about my mental health deteriorating further, if I react to the Slynd.

This is has gone on for nearly 9 years so I'm really hoping this form of progesterone works for me.

All advice and experiences appreciated.

I was on the hysterectomy pathway for heavy bleeding and consultant suggested Slynd plus oestrogen gel pump. I had 60 days of break through bleeding and then one day it just stopped. I take it back to back - no other issues. Tbh it’s been life changing for me

Thank you. I could cope with bleeding. Its my mental health I'm scared about.
My consultant recommended a hysterectomy but its not for me.

Have you tried using the Utrogestan vaginally instead of taking it orally?

Yes, sadly I still struggle with the side effects.

Hi lovely

So I'm on week 3 and its literally been life changing.
This is the best I've felt in over 10 years. I feel like my brain is waking up.
Its incredibly difficult to articulate but I feel so much better.

Since going into premature menopause I developed terrible anxiety. Utrogestan, Femoston and combi patches made it so much worse.

I was on depo Provera and Provera in my 20s, I thought I had a nervous breakdown but now I realise it was the progesterone.

Oh wow thats great. I'm early peri I believe and anxiety with panic attacks and spikes at different times. Estrogen made me feel worse. Really interested to try slynd as wander if this might suppress ovulation and period which would be amazing
