Sore breasts at 56 during menopause, is this normal or usual?

I'm 56, so it can't be pregnancy....but every so often I'm suffering with sore breasts just like I used to get in the days before my period. Is this normal/usual?

I'd see your GP and ask them to arrange a breast examination.

You can get 'false' period symptoms including PMS sometimes, shortly after your final periods (they are called phantom periods) but in any case, best to have things checked out.
