Lip colour - lip blushing

Has anyone had a successful lip tint done in the form of lip blushing (semi perm tattoo)?

My lips since menopause are almost paler than my skin and I look dead if I don’t wear lipstick or tinted lip balm :-(

Yes - I love mine! Had it 3 years this summer and getting it topped up again. I don’t “need” it doing as there is still colour but I’d like it done.

I had mine done and it was one of the most painful things I’ve ever experienced (and I like to think I have a relatively high pain threshold). I’ve had my eyebrows tattooed and that was a breeze.
They look great, but never again! It was two hours of agony as they go over and over the same part and, once they’ve started, you can’t exactly stop them. I assume because the lips are so sensitive, and mine must be more sensitive than usual.

I’ve had it done and loved the results but agree it was painful especially around the cupids bow. For me it was because they couldn’t numb it (as they swell) until after it’s had been outlined first but they did for the second ‘coat’ which was much better.

That’s odd. Mine were numbed straight away before she went near them! Then she applied more numbing cream after the initial pass over to ensure I was throughly numb.

I had not heard of the numbing causing puffy lips… will need to look into that more! Thank you ladies. I will be PM’ing you for more info if that’s ok!
