Vagirux residue

I am 54 and on HRT including testosterone. I have been using vagirux pessaries but I find I often have chalky or sometimes creamy residue the next morning. I also know that the advice is not to have sex when you have recently inserted the vagirux. I sometimes feel reluctant to insert one at bedtime just in case we want to have sex and can’t. My libido seems to be picking up so I am hoping we will be having more sex !

Thinking about asking my GP to prescribe a cream or gel. Would be grateful if anyone has made the change and whether it has improved things. Thanks.

You can insert it daytime. Vagirux (aka Vagifem) is a pessary and sticks to the vaginal wall unlike cream which will just ooze out.

Or, if you want to you can insert it after sex.
