Hi, @Lesley2022. May I ask, who put you on Tibolone and what their reasons were?

Do you have access to any of your notes via the NHS App?

TheAutumnCrow · 28/02/2026 21:27

And I’m very sorry you’re feeling so awful Flowers

Hey yes I've been in a chemical menopause for the past 2 years for I also have a problem with the progesterone part of hrt, I did a trail only using estrogel for 2 months which is safe for up to 3 months but my Encronogolist said I defo have to have the progesterone part of hrt or something that protects my womb hence the tibolone and he has put me on the waiting list for a full hysterectomy. Also it was my Encronogolist who put me on tibolone. I just wanted to see does anyone else feel like this and does it end I'm very sensitive to hormonal changes I become very unstable so I really don't want to change hrt and I'm pretty sure this is the last option for me anyway.

@Lesley2022 I doubt I’d have agreed to taking Tibolone and a hysterectomy at your age without input from a gynaecologist, and with your side-effects, doubly so.

What does your GP think?
