Confused progesterone??

please help I'm totally confused on when I'm supposed to be taking my progesterone. It started really well, I was bleeding towards the end of my 12 days now it's all gone to pot!!! I'm supposed to take it on day 15 of my cycle for 12 days with a few days off? Is day 1 the 1st day of my period?? I wasn't having periods until I started the hrt but not having them every month. I can't work out when day 1 is, my recent period came after 3 weeks!!! Haven't got a clue what's what

You take it on the same date every month for the next 12 days.

For example, if you start taking it on the 20th of the month for 12 days, you take it on the 20th of every month (for 12 days) going forward.

Take your progesterone on the same DATE each month and the HRT will create a cycle. So if you took it on the 20th of last month, take it again on the 20th of this month.
if you have not had periods are you post menopausal? If so you take progesterone daily if that’s the case. Taking it cyclical is for perimenopausal women still having periods.
