Bleeding for two weeks

Looking for some advice. I’ve only had a period three times in the last year. Just over two weeks ago I started bleeding and it’s showing no sign of letting up. I have no other symptoms that are bothering me.
is this typical or time to go to the doctor?

It was typical for me.
Two periods some months.
Missing periods for several months.
Bleeding for 3-4 weeks.

Worth seeing a dr if you are concerned but, ime, just ‘one of those things’.

I had a period last year that went on for three months (I did seek advice on this as I wondered if it would ever stop!). It's not uncommon to have longer bleeds as you approach menopause though and there was nothing wrong, in my case. Since then, I've only had an odd day's spotting here and there, so I'm really hoping that this is the endgame!!
