Are these HRT side effects my imagination

Just started patches, only on the eostrogen bit at the moment

Almost immediately, anxiety in the mornings, very tired and heavy, very bloated muffin top out of nowhere, bloating, constipation, indigestion and reflux.

Check the patient information leaflet in the box, it should list common side effects from whatever one you are using.

Bloating can definitely be common, it usually settles after a few weeks once your body adjusts to the hormones though.

If side effects are too bad, discuss changing brand/ dose with the HRT nurse.

It doesnt say anything about bloating or tiredness. It says about nausea but not about relfux or acid or constipation.
