Which private menopause clinic - London

Just that really. London area. I’m familiar with Newsom clinic but wondering if there are any others I should be looking at. Also, how much does a private prescription cost?

Do you mind if it's male or female? Consultants charge around £350 for the 1st appointment and less for the rest.

Private prescriptions - A rough guide. Pharmacies set their own prices and a dispensing fee but this is roughly what I pay.

Oestrogel is around £12 a pack lasts for 32 days at 2 pumps a day.
Utrogestan is around 40p per 100mgs tablet (30 in the box)
Vaginal estrogen (cream) is around £9 a tube.

Most consultants will charge for writing the prescription if it's in between seeing them. Around £30-£40.

Thanks! I think I’d prefer to see a female doctor but I’m not really sure why. I’m already on HRT but I’m interested in testosterone as my GP has said there’s not enough evidence for its benefits so is refusing to consider it for me.

So could you carry on getting HRT on the NHS and add testosterone to it privately?
