Hello all,
I'm turning 50 this year and have noticed my skin has now started to look & feel in need of a little more TLC now that I'm "en-meno".
I've always been very lucky in that I've only ever needed to wash & moisturise, my skin has mostly been in good condition as I don't drink or smoke and drink plenty of water, I have very few wrinkles, but I'm aware now that I just feel like I need a bit more and some help to keep my face looking fresh & glowing instead of tired & dull. I'm now in surgical menopause and use HRT which im sure is also making a difference to how dull and tired im looking. I've never spent a lot on products and I can't afford to as I have children at home and other priorities so spending a lot of money on myself has never sat comfortably with me. I'm currently using Simple cleanser and moisturiser which is easy to get hold of at the supermarket or online and has done me for the last year or so, but i just feel i need something more suited to "more mature" skin.
Does anyone have any proven products to help brighten and freshen my skin and help me look less tired and dull that don't cost a fortune please? I'm not really into the whole cleanse/tone/serum/oil/moisturise routine as I have a busy home & work life and little time for myself. Help me out please guys!
Tia x

I’ve been using Florence vitamin C serum for about 3 months and I really like it. My skin is definitely brighter and fresher looking. I’m 58. Roc do a nice moisturiser but it’s a bit pricey at about £35. Excellent quality skincare is going to cost more, although some don’t agree with that.

Look into retinol.... tretinoin is popular
