Wondering if this could be peri. Having multiple episodes of sudden heat from chest up, needing to put a fan on in January, waking up drenched in sweat regularly. Im 37.
Today I have really overactive sense of smell or period blood is different somehow? Is this something that happens? Its all i can smell. Periods still pretty regular although have had some problems over the past few yrs.

I was 41 when mine started. Apparently if you haven’t had children it tends to start earlier (I have three DC and still started at 40-41).

The waking up drenched is a classic sign though.

My memory is also awful. And usually extremely good.
Pretty sure my mum was over 50 when she got it.

35, luckily had a , young, male, GP, who was brilliant.

I was 40. The night sweats started then, and my sleeping patterns went haywire.
My advice, if you need it, is to start or keep up some regular exercise. I believe it really helps.
Edited to add: I also got the more sensitive sense of smell, although not straight away.

Looking back now I would say 40/41 but didn’t realise at the time. Started with heavy heavy periods, then the rage, then the night sweats.
