Patch change restlessness

Hi.
only on my 4th week of 25mcg evorel patches with utrogestan on days 15-26 (perimenopause) Been ok so far but i am now noticing a pattern that every patch change day i wake up in the night very restless (even when taking utrogesten) just wondering if anyone else had similar and would trying gel instead help with that?

Do you mean after applying it?

Yes. For example i applied fresh patch yesterday morning, woke up around 1.30am very restless and struggled to get back to sleep. This has happened the last 4 patch changes.

I’ve actually just realised the first few patch changes i felt fine. Its only been since i started the utrogestan that i have disrupted sleep following patch change, also been a bit emotional/teary the day after patch change too. If anyone has an advice.
