Want a really good Menopause specialist - am prepared to pay

I am post menopausal - if that is the right term. Haven't had a period for 3 years. I use Gina vaginal estrogen but other than that haven't taken systemic HRT.

I love being menopausal in that I don't miss the monthly hormonal pendulum, don't miss periods and generally feel well and healthy. My pelvic floor is still where it should be, my bones are not disintegrating (I've had them scanned) and I actually feel in an infinitely better mood than I did for most of Peri!

However, I have no libido and I have nightly Nocturia (waking up to pee at night). So, I'm starting to consider HRT but I have zero faith in my GP and would like to see someone really good. Any recommendations for a good menopause clinician in London or the South East?

Thank you.

Look up the female health clinic in Marlow. Dr April Jones is great

Thank you @Linguist1979 that is really helpful and Marlow is not a million miles from me.

Peter Greenhouse. I have had a few meetings with him and he was great- never had to meet face to face but he was still able to prescribe medication and write to my GP after analysing my log of issues

Fionnuala Barton at the menopause medic. I think she does in person around Berkhamstead/St Albans or online. She is fantastic. Felt listened to for the first time, and she responds very quickly and helpfully with any follow up questions you have.

Thank you @mahoganynails and @Melsy88 very much appreciated. I will look at those too.

Peppy health. They do online consultations. A friend of mine works for them

Thank you @Princessbubbles

You need to decide if you want to see a consultant gynaecologist or a GP trained in menopause.

I'd suggest you start with the main private hospitals in London ( can PM you if you need the names) and take it from there.

I went to The Female Health Clinic in Hartley Witney. Dr. Fawcett was great and I now get hrt through gp as they were happy to prescribe with a letter from the clinic.

Another vote for Peter Greenhouse.

He's a specialist in and passionate about menopause and PMDD

Thank you for the additional recommendations. I am looking at all the options. Really appreciate it.
