Long cycles

How long from when your cycles became long (60+ days) did you finally get your last period?

I’m 45 and cycles this year have been averaging about 80 days. Before that I’ve had irregular cycles for about 4 years, mostly on the short side (20 days) with the odd 40-60 day cycle thrown in. Before that, my cycles were always 28 days like clockwork.

I was reading something entirely randomly last night that said that once your cycles are consistently 60+ days, you are likely to have your last period in the next 2 years. 😳

Other than the 80 day cycles, I can’t really say I have any other symptoms of perimenopause. Maybe a bit of forgetfulness. Not on HRT as just haven’t felt like there was a reason for it. I figured I’d have periods for another 5-7 years into my early 50s, but could they actually stop? I hadn’t quite considered that, despite the obviously wonky cycles.
