Is anyone else struggling to process information and remembering things? I feel I'm losing myself and always messing up because I just can't seem to hold on to the things im told, I really love my partner but I dont think she can cope with me anymore, I'm a constant disappointed, this morning I just can't think straight at all 😕

I feel like this. Information goes in and it’s like it disappears.

I’m like this with longer emails. Just too much information to absorb in one go. It’s horrifying to me, I have a PhD in a Humanities subject so used to be able to read and synthesise vast amounts of information and now have to break down emails into digestible chunks.

I sometimes feel like my brain has gone slippery and new information simply can't penetrate, but just 'slides off'. It's a horrible feeling. Be wary of simply attributing change in cognitive function and memory issues to perimenopausal brain fog though; a family member did this but it turns out she has early onset dementia. If your symptoms feel debilitating, perhaps get it checked out?
