I've had the Mirena coil for about 15 years now and stopped having regular periods about 12 years ago, just occasional light spotting that stopped completely about 6-7 years ago.
I've been post menopausal for about 4 years, on HRT, no problems, and I had my Mirena changed 3 months ago.
Since then I've had a small amount of very light spotting 4-5 days a week. I've never had spotting continue this long after having my coil changed, but I've been told just to wait another 3 months and see GP if it's still continuing ( this was when I had a medication review over the phone).
I'm just feeling a bit worried about this, and not sure if I should be asking for another opinion?
