Hi all, I am in perimenopause and have recently started estradiol patches and Utrogestan pills. I feel good on the Oestrogen -calmer, more energy, more stable cycle - but the Utrogestan is causing me problems - bleeding as soon as I start taking it. My gyny is nice but rather unhelpful as she says it could be not enough progesterone, or it could be not enough oestrogen, or it could be....... It's pretty frustrating and the bleeding is not really "manageable" , it's too heavy. Anyone else had this experience with Utrogestan? Got any suggestions? (I WAS taking 50mg Estradiol patch and 2 utrogestan for days 12-26, but have now reduced to 25mg estradiol and 1 utrogestan)
