First HRT bleed whats going on?

Can anyone help me figure out what is going on?
I started HRT 14 days ago, 2 pumps of Estrogel and 200mg Utrogesten orally. I started the HRT as soon as prescribed as hadn’t had a period in months. I was expecting to bleed when I stopped the Utrogestan as GP said I would, but Im bleeding already, it started during the night, im so crampy and it feels heavy.and uncomfortable
Whats going on? Is this my normal period? I was expecting a withdrawal bleed but I only stop my utrogesten today?!

I take Utrogestan for 14 days alongside oestrogel, and I always bleed before I’ve finished taking it (normally day 13/14). I’ve mentioned it at more than one check and they told me that’s fine, as long as I’m having a bleed every month.

Thanks for replying…. Interesting! Maybe there is nothing for me to be worried about then?!

Speak to someone if you’re concerned, and mention it at your next check but my GP/ nurse weren’t concerned at all.
