Post menopause bleeding - 2 week wait - really anxious

I started HRT in the summer and have had bleeding on and off throughout. I assumed the bleeding was just my body getting used to the HRT but the doctor was less relaxed and referred me. Scan on Thursday. I also had a smear test this week and the nurse could see blood. So now I'm terrified!

If you've gone through this what was your experience?

Just had my Hysteroscopy. Feel the need to post as online all you see we the worst stories.

Maybe I'll post on a general health board too.

In and out in less than half an hour including chatting to the consultant. I literally felt nothing! She put numbing gel on cervix, saline fluid in, had a look around, biopsy, and done. The actual procedure less than 15 mins.

Big thumbs up to Royal Surrey.

Now we wait for results, but she said everything looked fine, and she's sure I will be able to go back on HRT, continuous now, rather than sequential.

I'm glad to hear your positive experience, mine was fine too just some discomfort but very quick.
The wait for results is getting me down now, but I'm going to get out today and keep myself busy.

Biopsy results came back yesterday all clear.
