Surely your GP is the person to ask, rather than on here. Otherwise speak to a pharmacist for professional advice.

I don’t think the generic progesterone is ok as it has a different coating that affects absorbency. The dose of it depends on whether you’re on a sequi or continuous regime. Speak to your pharmacist

The NHS only seem to prescribe the generic one now. I don't think the GP will advise as it is off-label but I will ask.

Was it cyclogest ?
I was on this as couldn’t take oral progesterone and also couldn’t tolerate the synthetic version .
I was on 200 for 12-14 days

@Orangesandlemons77 It's the same amount as for oral use.
200mgs (2 capsules) on a cycle for 12 days, 100mgs daily if using it daily.

The generic version are the same. (Just as Ibuprofen is the same as branded Nurofen.)

The British Menopause Society has a very detailed guidance on this and they say use the same amount. I've left the link loads, so you might be able to find it with a search BMS / endometrial protection/ HRT
