Bleeding on the pill

Hi. Im 42 and have gone on the combined pill (microgynon) to manage peri symptoms about 10 weeks ago. It's sorted my mood swings out but ive been lightly bleeding and cramping for nearly 3 weeks now despite running my packs together.

Has anyone else experienced this?
Does i5 sort itself out?
Thanks

I have been on and off certain pills my entire life. And they have all taken a while to settle. Some I stopped my periods completely and others it took a few months of breakthrough to stop it.

im currently on Cerazette and it isn’t enough anymore to stop my periods from coming though. I have spotted for over a year now. But im better being on it than off it. Give it a while and let it settle

Thank you, I do appreciate your insight
I definitely feel better on it than before so it's worth putting up with the spotting
