Looking for thoughts as I’m dithering. I’m 6 weeks into starting HRT (oestrogen gel a.m., progestorone tablet p.m. plus topical vaginal oestrogen 2/3 times a week). Two weeks ago I had period like cramping and breakthrough spotting (needing a pad at times). While I know that can happen, the bleeding is progressively getting a bit worse, I am bloated and have doomy mood swings. On the plus side I am more energetic but also hungrier so am fighting eating more despite being on Mounjaro. I really don’t know whether to continue (have been post menopausal for over 10 years). Anyone been in the same situation? Currently it feels like the side effects outweigh the benefits.

I can’t say whether or not you’re on the right hrt meds for you, but 6 weeks isn’t enough to find out whether it’s effective for you
