This is an evaporation line isn’t it?

I’m 45, I have a 15 and 13 year old, i’m not using contraception as DP (not the kids’ dad) had a vasectomy 19 years ago. I’m 4 days late, I’m never late, I’m hoping this is perimenopause starting because it all fits with my age etc but curiosity got the better of me and I did a couple of strip tests. One is a definite negative 😮‍💨 but the other looks a bit iffy. My anxiety is now through the roof. Please tell me this looks like an evaporation line! It was like this within the recommended 3 mins and I’m thinking if I was pg the line would be more obvious and more pink?! It’s been 14 years since I’ve taken a test and I feel sick.

Hmm I wouldn’t be too worried about that but probably take another test to be sure.
having said that 45 is not too old to get pregnant and vasectomies can sometimes fail as far as I know.
Fingers crossed it’s just an evap x

I wouldn’t be too worried. The control line is looking dodgy. Maybe take another test to be sure

It’s just an evaporation line 😮‍💨 Did another one today and it was most definitely negative. So now I’m 5 days late and no signs I’m about to come on any time soon. Looks like I have entered perimenopause!

This is the story of my life recently (although without the vasectomy), my cycle is anything from 19 to 35 days. I’m in HRT so apparently it should follow that cycle but clearly didn’t get the memo.
