Mirena for HRT

I’ve just had the coil fitted for both HRT reasons and for horrendously heavy periods. (Heavy periods been going on forever)
I also have 2 x pumps of the Esterogel per day.
just wondered how others got on with the coil and how quickly it reduced (hopefully stopped) the periods. 🙏🏻

I spotted for 6/7 months, but that was preferable to the increasingly frequent flooding periods I was having, that caused anaemia.
