Anyone else have That’s awful bitter metallic taste in their mouth when you’re going through the menopause? it’s absolutely driving me mad, it’s been on and off for the last few months since I’ve been in the thick of the menopause but recently I’ve had it for two weeks with no let up and it’s horrible horrible horrible. The only thing that really gets rid of it is eating and drinking but then it’s soon comes back. Anyone else?

@mariasgotabrandnewbag not every day. I went to the GP and to the dentist to check it wasn't anything else. I also cut down on tea as that made it worse and found that eating fresh fuirt and veg made it not as noticeable.

I have had this on and off my whole life so suspect it's hormonal. When I did a low carb diet it was horrendous so I have stopped that. I'm on HRT now and I can't recall having for a while. It does recur occasionally though, HRT or not!
