Hi, just a question about sequential HRT bleeding. I've been on Femoston 1/10 for over 6 months now which has been amazing for helping with low moods and sorting out crazily heavy bleeding (I have conditions which contraindicate the use of a Mirena), without the severe mental side effects I normally have with synthetic progesterones. However, my periods are still very out of synch with when I should be having a withdrawal bleed? As in it usually starts from day 10 onwards into my new pack. I presume this means my own hormones are overriding the HRT hormones and it's a real period as opposed to a withdrawal bleed?
I'm now noticing that I have the slight mood flattening of the progestin for two weeks then my own PMT in my luteal week 😅. Does anyone try and align the two together? When does everyone else have their period after finishing the progesterone half? I'm quite young still so am having regular periods and expect to for the next 10 years-ish.
