And a very lackluster period has appeared. I was shocked but had felt myself being irritated in that way that you can only be irritated before a period so I suppose not so shocked. Back to the drawing board. Booooo

I had this exact same thing earlier this year. No period for 6 months and then I got some bleeding. Thought 'shite' and assumed it was a period. However it was literally so lackluster and actually didn't really come to anything at all and my small bleed (I am not even counting it as a period) lasted less than half a day. Went to change my tampon (sorry for the TMI) and it was clear.

I have now gone another 4 months and no period so I am hoping that my 'bleed' was just a minor blip. Still thinking and hoping that I am almost through this bullshit.

I did 8 months and then two months running had very short (1-2 days) and very light periods. Nothing again since August.

I m 46, I ve been having long breaks and essentially menopausing intensely for the last 2 years. I went 20 weeks without a period, that is 6 months,...... Then one month ago, I was pms-ing like crazy. Burning lips, massive cold sore, very painful breasts, and pink discharge, then boom, after 5 days of a tiny pink discharge in the mornings, on day 5, a full period. Bright red blood, period went on for about 5 days. Mostly shedding in the morning. OMG the exhaustion.

Its 4 weeks to the day I got the cold sore and the pmt, and my lips are burning again (but less intensely). I doubt I ll get a period, but it seems like my body is trying to have a cycle.

I have more of this crap to wade through.

@Mollydoggerson its so exhausting. I’ve now got just pink spotting that means either pad or tampon and I JUST WANT IT ALL TO GO AWAY

I had 3-4 years of periods every 6-7 months before my last at 54.
