If you're out the other side, do you feel better?

I'm v early 50s and exhausted. Been on hrt for 5 years. Honestly cant imagine dragging myself on for another 20 years or so.
Does anyone feel better in say their mid to late 50s than they did 10 years earlier?

I'd love to know this too!!
5 years of full peri, on HRT and keeping fit which helps a lot but I'm still not great, hoping periods will end within a year (I'm at average age now). It'd be great to think I'll feel better some time not too far away...

Terrible peri early 40’s
Total hysterectomy late 40’s and on HRT, so technically out the other side.
In my 50’s now on HRT and still feel shit.
Life is so exhausting I’ve pretty much stopped all socialising. I take god knows how many vitamins, potions and supplements that are supposed to help. I eat well, I exercise when I’m able, don’t drink any alcohol, don’t smoke, but I’m just so bloody tired. All. The. Time.
God knows how I’m going to work until 67. I can’t get off the sofa at the weekend and ‘only’ work 32 hours a week.

Oh god @PoorPickingsI'm so sorry and also was dreading that kind of answer😂

went through early menopause at 37. Now 56 feel great. Have recently gone back to weight training as I am planning to be fitter at 60 than I was at 30. Just qualified as a scuba diver and planning on doing more training & have just signed up to climb Kilimanjaro. Never took HRT. My 40s were shite though. Weight gain and very low mood. Much much better now :)

That's fantastic @Lesina! I have a couple of other health issues which restrict me a bit which is frustrating as I used to enjoy weight training and know how good it is for you
