Feeling clueless - what would next step be?

I’m embarrassed to be so ignorant about what’s going on with my own body - but hoping some wise Mumsnetters can advise…

Started on Everol Sequi about 18months ago. Sorted out hot flushes, night sweats and sleep and some other symptoms I didn’t even realise were related to perimenopause - particularly achy legs and joints, and anxiety. Great.

Now am starting to feel symptoms creeping back: aching legs, poor sleep, and anxiety. I have zero sex drive. Zero. And I just feel really meh about life, which is unlike me. Cant be arsed with anything.

I have GP appointment this eve and am
wondering what they might suggest (or, realistically, what I should be pushing for)?

How does it work? Do I need more of both hormones I’m getting? Or more oestrogen? And what about testosterone - from what I’ve read that’s less likely to be proscribed but may help with sex drive…?

Any experiences/advice very welcome!

You may need to have your oestrogen dose increased. They would want to get you stable on oestrogen before introducing testosterone.

Go in with a list of your current symptoms, and the impact they are having on your life. Good luck

Testosterone can be prescribed for low libido so you might as well ask while you’re there. And agree with more estrogen.
