Panic attacks

Have recently started taking POP on advice of GP to deal with peri symptoms as they didn’t want to try full HRT just yet and I get migraines so they don’t want to give oestrogen. Have been on it for 3 months and has transformed a lot of the physical symptoms but lately I have started having overwhelming panic and anxiety. Have a lot going on anyway so hard to separate but just wondering if anyone else has experienced this with progesterone and whether there are any tips for what I should be saying to the GP in terms of next steps. It feels very physical, overwhelming panic and tearfulness.

I'm in perimenopause and not taking any kind of HRT, but I did start to get anxiety attacks a few years back. I started taking an Ashwagandha supplement and it massively helped - anxiety gone within a few days!. I take a Well Woman 50+ one too.
