Is this a known symptom of peri-menopause?

Tbh the symptoms are all over my body but starting mid evening and especially when in bed trying to sleep I just cannot get my body temperature consistent or comfortable.

my head, neck and chest can be practically dripping with sweat whilst my legs and feet feel freezing, the minute I put some long PJ bottoms on and/or bed socks I am prickling with sweat there!

it’s so frustrating - once I manage to get to sleep I’m usually ok from there and once I wake in the morning I’m fine for the rest of the day….until 7pm ish

am I normal??!! Any tips?

I was absolutely frozen in bed around your age. Teeth chattering. The minute I tried to do anything about it such as putting on a cardigan, I was on fire, which was worse. My friend swore by using a single duvet: put it lengthways as normal when cold and quickly flip it across your body with feet and head sticking out when hot. It never really worked for me though.
