HRT changing tastebuds? Or has Coca-Cola changed?

The only fizzy drink I like is real, original, full fat, full sugar coke - in a can or glass bottle, not a plastic bottle, or on draught. I have one now and again as a treat. I can always tell the difference when someone tries to tell me ‘Pepsi is just the same’ and so on. I’ve had 2 cans from different places in recent weeks and 1 bottle from a pub, but now they just don’t taste right to me. The only thing that’s changed for me is I started on HRT about 4 weeks ago. Has HRT had an effect on anyone else’s taste just on one particular thing? Nobody I know on HRT has noticed this and I’ve been googling with no definitive answers so thought I’d ask MN!

As I’ve got older I’ve found things do taste different. I thinks it’s your tastebuds change, not sure it’s a hrt thing as I’m not on it anymore, but might be a menopause thing.

I’m on hrt and I don’t enjoy alcohol and coffee anymore. Used to have a glass of wine almost daily.
