Am I in peri?

I'm 44. Periods still happening - but all over the show - sometimes 1 per month, sometimes 2. Sometimes for a couple of days, sometimes 2 weeks. Sometimes barely there, sometimes like Niagara. Sometimes I have little PMS, sometimes I'm throwing up.

Almost constant headaches.

Feeling nauseous often.

I'm achey - hips mainly.

I have little energy or motivation. Tired.

My mood is low. Very low at times. I could cry for days. I'm sad. Angry. My tolerance levels have plummeted. Things that would have annoyed me but I'd have got over or brushed off.... I can't do that now. It sits with me and I'm likely to let it be known.

Is this is it? Is this peri?

Sounds very much like it tbh.
I will say HRT was hugely effective in regulating my moods. It doesn’t do anything for the tiredness though. I’ve not found anything that helps that, and I’ve bought every meno supplement aimed at desperate women like myself!
Mobility exercises 3/4 times a week are the only things that stops my hips being agony. If I miss a couple of days I really feel it. It’s a pita to have to do them but it’s only a 10 min routine I’ve put together after watching TT mobility vids, it makes a huge difference, like my joints have been lubricated.

it is worth asking the GP for blood tests though as thyroid, low B12/folate, low ferritin or Vit D can also contribute to low mood and lack of energy.

Thanks. I do take Vit D - tho not consistently - but my levels haven't been checked in a while. I'll ring tne docs on Monday for a check-up.

I feel like I'm falling apart!
