Re-starting HRT

Has anyone restarted HRT after having a benign endometrial polyp and a benign endocervical polyp removed? I was advised by my consultant to stop while waiting for the results. The results are back—benign, with no abnormalities—but there was no mention of the cause or whether I can resume HRT.

Yes this happened to me. I was taking HRT then I had to stop during investigations. I had a polyp removed which was hormonal and nothing else.

Once I received this result I contacted my GP and asked to be put back on HRT and they gave me a prescription for 3 months worth of patches immediately.

I was so relieved as I’d spent 18 months without it and I hated it. I just feel so much better on it.

That’s good to know. I will give my GP a call x
