Was on Estradot 75 for a number of years and it was great(with 3 x Utrogestan daily) took me years to get it right - then bang, no Estradot!

So I moved to Estraderm 75(headaches), then Oestrogel (bleeding)(3 shots), , but found my symptoms worsening with both so I visited the GP and she has moved me over to Evorel Conti which is just 50mg so she said i may' need 2 patches, but to give it a go with 1, obviously dropping the Utrogestan

As anyone moved from a 75 patch to Evorel Conti, and what was your experience? I am bloody terrified and fed up with the HRT lottery

HI! I know this is an old post so wondering where you are with you HRT journey now? I have been on HRT since the age of 30 when I was diagnosed with early ovarian failure and still on it even though at menopause age of 55. I have always used Estradot patches for estrogen, but decreased from 100 to 75. before the age of 50, I did the cyclical method where I took provera for 12 days and had monthly bleedings. Then I moved to the UK (from US) and once I turned 50 the advice was not to use provera and to do continuous progesterone and it has been a battle to find anything that works ever since. I have tried utrogestan but get headaches and heavy bleeding every 2 weeks, then tried mirena coil but had it removed after 2 weeks due to dizziness, headaches and bad heartburn. Then as of this year was put on dydrogesterone and that too caused heavy bleeding and headaches. At the moment I'm on cyclogest pessaries (rectally) and it's the only thing that works for me (no headaches or bleeding) but it's off license and my gynae says they can't recommend it for long term. Now my gynae team suggests I try Estradot conti 40/130 patches but 2 patches to get close to my current estrogen dose I get from estradot 75. This would be similar to evorel conti you were asked to take. Did you try it and doubled up on the patches? What was your experience? Are you still on it?
