I can’t seem to wear bras anymore, they make me itchy, I currently wear padded underwired ones, I went shopping earlier came home and I had to take it off, I’ve developed a rash from them, anyone else get this? And what are you wearing?
totally fed up with all these symptoms 😢

You need something to help with the chafe. Try from Boots. I was really struggling to wear any kind of bra but this stuff is fab and makes all the difference.

Says its for thighs but it works a treat.

Thank you

Is this another symptom of perimenopause though?

I've recently started to hate my underwired bras. I got a soft bralette one from Poundland of all places that's got padding in the cups and it's so bloody comfortable. I'm never going back😅

They're only £4 so it's not a big loss if you don't like them. But honestly I've never been so comfortable in any bra/bralette ever. Hope you get the same from them that I have. Bra rage is real😂

Soon as I get home I whip it off like a mad woman 😂 I will definitely look for these.

I wear cheap stretchy bra tops/bralettes, also from a cheap shop like pp above. Much more comfortable although I do have to put up with less of a boost to the boob area which isn't necessarily all that pleasing aesthetically. Thankfully I don't care so much about that anymore. I only wear a proper bra if I'm going 'out out'.

That's why I got the ones with the removable padded cups because when I go out I pop the pads in so I get the decent shape and then can just whip them out when at home.

I want them higher up where they belong! 😁 But I'm not willing to trade comfort for it!

Underwire bras are so over. I’m 57 & I gave them up years ago.

I wear stretchy crop top style bra tops - from Sloggi XERO, or Primark. I love the Boody bras.

Didntask · 08/09/2025 18:32

Have you been measured recently? Are your bras the right size?

No I haven’t, might be worth doing that.

I've been wearing the Sloggi no wired bras for a few months now and have been much happier, the one I have has slight padding, really comfortable. On the chaffing front, body glide is good, we use it for long distant runs, it's amazing for chafing

LazySusans · 10/09/2025 09:33

@pinenuts75 There are loads of non wired bras now available. Have a look at M&S, J Lewis (online), etc etc.
