Bump on vulva

I posted a few weeks ago about vaginal dryness.

Since then the dryness has subsided but one side of my labia still felt sore and looked swollen. Then when I looked yesterday the swelling seems to have gone but there is a small red spot/bump there. I’ve been searching the internet and going down rabbit holes, it could be anything from an infected sebaceous gland to cancer. I’ve also been diagnosed with vulval eczma in the past and wondering if it’s that but it’s more like a spot.

Anyone any experience of this? I’m going to go to my GP I think but feel a bit silly as it’s only a small red spot.

I've had similar from time to time, no dryness but really quite painful and swollen for a couple of days, the bump develops as a pimple and usually pops when wiping, then heals almost immediately as if nothing had happened. Strange but I've stopped worrying about it and put it down to yet another hormonal quirk.

I’m hoping it’s just a hormonal quirk. Mine doesn’t have a head on it so doesn’t look like it will pop. It’s more like the skin has thickened in that area making a tiny red bump.
