How long after progesterone pill does your period arrive?

I’ve been on HRT for a couple of months. I’ve got a patch and also take progesterone pills. Doctor advised taking the pills on the 1st - 12th of each month, so I don’t forget when to take.
i expected my period to come not long after finishing the pills based on my understanding of how the cycle works and from what I googled… so is it normal that it’s 2 weeks after I finish the pills before I get my period (I.e. 26th)??
if not, anyone else experience this and did it change down the line?

Any time of any day in my experience!
often while I’m still taking the pills. I’ve more chance
of predicting the lottery numbers than when my period will arrive these days.

I struggle with this too. I think my body just refuses to take any notice of the progesterone pills and just blindly carries on with its own cycle (I was always a longer cycle, between about 31-35 days ish).

After progesterone - 2 to 5 days. The later, the harder that time is for me, unfortunately.

Mine are incredibly predictable now!

I take my 2 progesterone pills for 12 days and have day one marked in my phone calendar to repeat every 4 weeks.
Then my period generally starts on what would be day 10, ie when I'm still taking the progesterone. (This is marked by a red P in my calendar!)

I tried taking my progesterone pills from the 1st to 12th of each month, but the variation in month lengths meant that my period was unpredictable.
I like being predictable! 😁

Usually 6 days after I’ve started the progesterone my period will start, last about 5 days and give me a little spotting when wiping 2 days after day 12 of the progesterone. When I went for a review last year, the nurse it was probably my natural cycle breaking through and taking (some level of) control.
