Can anyone recommend some tablets that aren't enormous?!

I think all of the magnesium’s are big capsules
its so they can get the amount needed in

i may be wrong

Notsurewheretostarthere · 23/08/2025 20:21

Yes I've tried several and they are all big.

You could empty them into some yoghurt or something?

TheCurious0range · 23/08/2025 20:22

The nutrition geeks ones say on them if you don't like taking tablets to open them and stir into a drink

Tcateh · 23/08/2025 20:27

I took a nutrition geeks one last night, about ten o'clock.
At 6 this morning I was like a zombie.
I have tried opening one it's not easy. Maybe make a hole in one?
Going to try it now.

Ok snipped the top off into my palm. Quite vile.

Lol

Notsurewheretostarthere · 23/08/2025 20:29

@Tcateh yes I skip them if I have a very early alarm and a busy day, or I feel like I haven't had enough sleep! They really work for me.

cannyvalley · 23/08/2025 20:31

I have searched high and low, but all the ones I’ve tried are massive horse pills.

the nutrition geeks capsules are at least very easy to swallow.

I'll have to remember that!

I'd had one the night before and no problem with zombie like feeling.

I mean, does it accumulated somehow?!

Probably not. I'm not doing well with a fibromyalgia flare up recently so perhaps there's a fluctuation in how much I can tolerate.

Notsurewheretostarthere · 23/08/2025 21:11

Mine doesn't accumulate. If I don't take them, I have awful restless legs. I take three a night 450mg of elemental magnesium. They really help me sleep.

OnlyMabelInTheBuilding · 23/08/2025 21:13

Can’t you just break them up? I also take nutrition geeks and find them easy to swallow, even though they are large. Cheap, but small, paracetamol is far worse

My nutrition geeks ones are powder in one of those big capsules?

Are yours?

Doggymummar · 24/08/2025 17:01

I was gagging on mine, I now have a Height subscription and they are reasonably sized.

Vegandiva · 24/08/2025 17:05

As one other poster has recommended, buy it in a powder form then you can mix as much or as little as you like in water. You can get it flavoured or unflavoured. I tried magnesium citrate unflavoured and it had a pretty neutral taste, but I can’t speak to the glycinate unflavoured.
