Tender breasts and sport

Since starting HRT I’m getting really tender breasts. It really hurts when I’m running which didn’t happen before and I don’t want to stop running.
I only have small breasts but they are so sore at the moment.
Anyone else had this or have any solutions?

Oh, I am VERY experienced in this area. You need diclofenac gel, brand name Voltarol, available in Boots. Get the higher concentration one, which is the 2.32%. It's a topical NSAID gel. Rub it on your breasts and you will experience almost immediate complete relief. (Well, in about 15 mins.) Doctor recommended it to me, and it saved my life.

Oh wow really! I knew it was worth a try asking here. I’ll let you know how I get on. Thanks

If you can sort out the cause it would be better.
Sore boobs often settle down but the dose of estrogen is what to look at first.
Whatever dose you are on, can you try reducing it?
The 'default' is 2 pumps of gel or a 50mcg patch but not everyone needs that.

Not sure about rubbing a pain killer onto your boobs. It may help temporarily but it's not dealing with the underlying issue.

Medical advice for painful breasts (with or without HRT) is evening primrose oil capsules. It's one of the few herbal products that has some science behind it.
