HRT - do I need to be worried my "period" hasn't arrived on schedule?

I've been using the gel, with progesterone tablets for 12 days of every month, for just over a year.

Once it settled into a rountine, I've been having a light bleed for 3-4 days exactly 10 days after I start the tablets. Much more regular than I ever was naturally. I was still having periods every 60-80 days before I started the HRT.

Last month I had 2 light periods of bleeding (more than spotting but lighter than usual) earlier in the month, before I started the tablets, but the usual bleeding 10 days into the tablets hasn't happened.

Is this something to be concerned about?

As you head towards menopause, even on HRT, anything at all can happen IME. I started off with a light bleed on a regular schedule in my mid-40s, then the gaps got longer and longer and now in my early 50s I bleed almost continually (I'm trying to fix this with the help of my GP). So don't expect things to stay the same, but if you're worried, speak to your GP.
