Am I starting?

So im almost 37. Started periods at 13.5 always like clock work although heavy and painful.
No issues with fertility or anything.
Last year I started spotting every 3.5 weeks just before my actual period came. Saw doctor had bloods etc everything fine just slight infection which was treated.
Been pretty much back to normal since.
Had normal heavy period 5 weeks go. Not had sex or anything since then so pregnancy is impossible.
Ive had the tiniest but of spotting a week after my period was due.
Is this normal?? Is menopause starting? Ive asked my mom and she started age 40 but she had part of her womb taken in her 30s which they said could make menopause come earlier. I don't take after her in that sense anyway cause she started periods at 11 and I was 13.5

If you're only currently a week late, that could be due to any number of things, not necessarily the start of perimenopause. Stress for example can mess with your cycle, or if you've recently started a new medication, that could affect things, or even over-exercising, etc. Are you experiencing any other symptoms that are common to peri?

This doesn’t sound like perimenopause, and it would be very unusual at your age.

Have you had a smear test recently?

Any spotting / irregular bleeding is a concerning symptom which should be throughly investigated. Blood tests are not sufficient. Please go back to your GP for a folllow up.

Im a single parent with 2 sen kids so yes I do get stressed 😅 my period has come now 1 week late. Ive also noticed a hair on my nipple not sure if it's related 😅

OK, that's good, things are moving again. The spotting was just a run-up to the main event. 😁

Nipple hairs are common for women of all ages, I think, nothing to worry about there!
