Stabbing pain in breast - what can I do about it?

I’m getting shooting stabbing pains in my right breast - not all the time just need the end of the HRT combined cycle. Bad enough to wake me up several times during the night. (Then I find it hard to go back to sleep as well grrr).

Anyone have any tips to make it feel better?

No but I have be n having this for years. Sometimes the other breast, sometimes centre of my chest. Dr's entirely I bothered by it and just tell me to apply ibuprofen gel (which does fuck all).

GRRRRRRRRR

I am very grumpy this morning, combination of lack of sleep and fucking menopause!

Not surprised the doctor was unbothered, nothing is physically wrong they can fix. Sorry you have to to, it is incredibly sore.

I am in peri and I take evening primrose oil to combat the breast pain. I was getting shooting pains in one boob and it seems to have done the trick. I asked the GP about it and apparently it works for about a third of women. Worth a try?

Thank you. I’ll give it a go.
