I was surprised to see blood this morning, after no period for well over a year.

I Googled and apparently I should contact my GP.

Anyone else experienced this? What was the outcome?

I am a bit of a worrier so obviously my mind has gone to worst case scenario.

Don’t panic, but yes off to see the GP, and expect to be referred under the 2 week rule.

Yes, very common, lots of threads here about it. Try not to worry but see your GP and expect to be referred for ultrasound/biopsy/hysteroscopy (possibly not all three). I had this earlier in the year and got the all clear (as do most women, or something benign is found) but it was worrying Flowers

Thank you both. I’ve contacted the GP via the online form this morning (no point ringing- they tell you to go online if you do). They are pretty good about responding quickly.

I am worried, but I’m always worried about something.
My DH has cancer so it’s all going around in my head a bit!

I had an ultrasound today so now just waiting for the results. Don’t know how long that will be.
