Who do we talk to about perimenopause?

I'm having weird sensations and I don't know if it's a UTI/cancer/perimenopause.

I don't want any gaslighting from the medical profession.

I have carcinophobia, which I used to be ashamed of, but since I see the C word EVERY SINGLE DAY in DailyMail, the back of doors at public toilets, every forum etc, I figure the aim was to scare me so good job, here we are.

Now, I'm confused and scared about every single thing I think might be a symptom.

I don't know who to talk to about what is going on and who to trust.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had a reassuring chat with ChatGPT on this exact topic.

Thank you!

I have had a chat wit GPT, too! Should I trust it, though? Do you trust it?

It is telling me it is a localised issue, like injury or irritation or something, but I just don't know.

I am not great with the anatomy 'down there' and the symptoms seems to vary.

All I know is that they came up, been around for 2 weeks and I am freaked out.

I think it’s drawing on a lot of data to come up with the most likely answer- which is kind of how the medical profession works anyway!! So it’s good for giving you a plan of what symptoms to track if you do decide to go to GP so you won’t get brushed off.
