Anything that doesn’t have oestrogen

Is there such a thing as HRT that doesn’t have oestrogen in it or is ok for people who can’t take oestrogen?
I tried a vaginal cream prescribed by GP a couple of years ago but it gave me severe headaches. I’ve never been able to take the pill )took the progesterone only one but it had nasty side effects).
Im doing ok with most symptoms but the sweat and the dry vulva are hard to deal with

You can get oestrogen gels for the vulva / vagina that just affect that area I believe. I think people who can’t have other forms of HRT can still have the gel for the vagina as I’m guessing it doesn’t affect the whole body the same ?
not 100 % sure about this though, but I do know the oestrogen gel works wonders on a very dry fanny!

thank you - it did help with the dryness but for some reason gave me headaches. I’m ever optimistic there’s some miracle solution. I mentioned it to the pharmacist yesterday (had to see them because of the extreme Athlete’s Foot I have from having such awfully sweaty feet and he couldn’t think of anything so I thought I’d try MN for ideas.

You need products and minerals that support mucous membranes. Bioactive omega 7 helps but I still need estriol.

Vaginal estrogen can't give you headaches. It's only absorbed in the vagina and is a minute amount. If you used 100 applications, that's the same amount of estrogen as in 1 day of HRT.

It's a coincidence if you get side effects with vaginal estrogen. Were you worried when you used it = anxiety= headache?

@JinglingSpringbells - it was a couple of years ago so I don’t remember well but.. I was on Sertraline at that time and plenty of general stress… so maybe you are right/onto something.
