Have read good things about collagen supplements for dealing with menopausal hiar thinning. Bought some high dose tablets in Home Bargains this morning and they're huge, and I have to take FOUR a day! Total dose is 3g. what's everyone else taking?

Zero, because studies show that they are digested by the gastrointestinal tract so not enough collagen gets absorbed into the bloodstream to make it to hair, skin or nails. The only studies that suggest improvements are sponsored by companies making the supplements.

There are lots of dermatologists and trichologist on TikTok who recommended Nizorel a couple of times a week, washing hair daily, rather than limiting washing, making sure you dry the scalp rather than let hair air dry, Dermarollering/massaging the scalp, making sure your ferritin is above 70, taking vitamin D, magnesium and HRT.
