Hi,

I started 100mg Utrogestan and Evorel 50mg patch on Sunday.

I’ve been feeling off since, sort of flat and fuzzy headed. I know it’s early days but wondering what other people’s early experiences on HRT were like.

Thank You

Bump

I’d love some support right now.

Did you take utrogestan at night? I forgot once and took it in the morning which made me feel a bit like that.

HRT was great for me from day 1 which I know is not the news you were hoping for! But often women on this board are recommended to stick with it and let things settle down. Best of luck - if you get the balance right, it’s a game changer!

Yes I take it right before bed and it’s not had the sedative effect on me that I’ve heard about.

I will stick with it and see how I get on. I’m glad you’ve had such a positive experience, it gives me hope!

If you don't feel better it might be that the uterogesran doesn't suit you. I couldn't get on with it at all as it gave me horrible tummy pains and l finally came off it and went back on the pill hrt l was on before. I'd been advised that uterogesran was the gold standard progesterone but it didn't suit me.

When I first started on HRT and later on when I changed from patches to gel I think my symptoms got worse for a couple of weeks before they got better. Both times it was 4 weeks before I saw real improvement.

I am not a medical professional but I do think you have to give it time and hopefully you will start to see an improvement soon.

Thank you. I do feel a little anxious at times on it but it has only been a week.I’ve suffered from anxiety previously so I’m hoping it will settle soon.
