Is anyone taking Lamotrigine for epilepsy and HRT?

I need to start HRT due to a medical condition that may otherwise get worse at menopause. I have a GP appointment due to discuss.

i have epilepsy with no seizure for more than a year. I am on Lamotrigine which can be affected by HRT becoming less effective. It isn’t my only anti epileptic. Happened to have neurology appointment and asked how to handle this, whether and how to increase the Lamotrigine and he said not to and they would review if I had a seizure.
Now so worried about what to do

I am. It’s helped my focal awareness seizures so much, I’ve been on Lamotrigine for nearly 2 years and I can safely say it’s changed my life. It’s also somehow dampened my (undiagnosed for 30 years) PMDD from nuclear to a low hum. I remain extremely bloody annoyed with myself for refusing being sceptical about it previously. I’ve had just 2 seizures since I’ve been taking it down from anything up to 20 a month.

I'd be interested in answers to this too. I'm on lamotrigine and have developed awful anxiety. I contacted my epilepsy nurse and she suggested an adhoc use of clobazam but also suggested hrt but cautiously. She said it is possible to take it but they would have to closely monitor me as it can affect the epilepsy meds. I'm going to ask when I get a face to face appointment (easier than phone or email!) as I am very unsure.
