Does brain fog feel heavy?

Not sure how else to put it. Am late 40s, so pretty sure that peri is kicking in. Symptoms so far are brain fog, periods starting to change, disrupted sleep, low mood, sex drive nil.

My question: does brain fog feel 'heavy' to anyone? It's not just that my memory and concentration are shot, and I can't remember words, but head physically feels heavy and like it's been stuffed with heavy damp fabrics. Not a headache per se but definitely a physical feeling. I'm going to make an appt with a GP this week, but wondered whether this was a normal (???) feeling.

Oh yeah definitely

Yes this is me too. Almost like I’m starting with a cold, crossed with feeling slightly drunk/hungover.

It’s been over 12 months for me and it’s bloody miserable. HRT does help for a few months and then I have to have it upped - but I’m now on the highest dose.

Yeah. I take creatine for meno brain fog. Then I take a break from it and forget I need the clutch to change gear or something.
